The company has invented:
Automatic Emergency Door Opening (AEDO) system – after a vehicle accident, the AEDO system opens jammed doors. First, the system opens the door locks and only then do the pyrotechnic actuators open – push the door out. The system is very effective and does not cause additional damage. Can be used in all types of civilian and military vehicles, on assembly lines, as well as in vehicles already in use.
Seatbelt Emergency Cutting System (SECS) – after a vehicle accident, the SECS system, automatically or semi-automatically cuts the fastened seat belts. This facilitates the evacuation and rescue of victims. Accident victims, even when they retain consciousness, are often unable to unbuckle tightly fastened seat belts on their own.
Automatic Decompression System (ADS) – is designed for use in military transport vehicles and industrial plants, providing automatic decompression during the initial stage of explosion of ammunition, anti-tank missiles, IEDs and during the explosion of flammable gases and chemical materials in industrial plants, oil platforms.
Safety systems AEDO, SECS and ADS, are already tested, while AEDO and ADS systems, are being implemented in civilian and military solutions. We are working to scale up deployments of the AEDO evacuation system, in used passenger civilian vehicles.
SAFETY ON ROADS
Entrapment in vehicles of victims of traffic accidents is a frequent and very dangerous phenomenon, preventing the rapid provision of medical assistance to accident victims – stopping hemorrhages, resuscitation or independent extrication from vehicles, especially during fires and vehicle sinkings, which significantly increases the risk of serious injury and death of trapped accident victims.

OUR INVENTIONS
AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY DOOR OPENING (AEDO)
The AEDO (Automatic Emergency Door Opening) system is used for the emergency opening of doors jammed after an accident to allow passengers to exit the vehicle on their own or to provide external medical assistance to injured accident victims.
Vehicle door openings, are accomplished using telescopic pyrotechnic actuators, driven by safety pyrotechnic gas generators, commonly used in vehicles, including pyrotechnic seat belt pretensioners.
The system is controlled by an electronic system and can be activated automatically or semi-automatically in civilian vehicles, or manually in military vehicles, and operates after a collision, rollover and after the vehicle stops moving, with a fixed time delay, e.g.: 5-15 sec, as well as falling of the vehicle into water or after a fire explosion, as well as after explosions of mines, ppk shells, IEDs.
Our devices can be installed in vehicles both at the stage of their production and during the period of operation – as additional equipment.

SEATBELT EMERGENCY CUTTING SYSTEM (SECS)
The SECS (Seatbelt Emergency Cutting System) is an invention designed to cut the fastened seatbelt in an emergency situation – after an accident – and allow the accident victim to exit the vehicle independently.
The system consists of a pyrotechnic seatbelt cutter, which is driven by a pyrotechnic micro gas generator, is controlled by an electronic control system that is activated after an accident and after the vehicle has stopped moving and after the vehicle has fallen into water or after a vehicle fire has broken out, after which the seatbelt cutters begin to operate, cutting the seatbelt webbing, which can be activated automatically or manually by accident victims, allowing them to quickly exit the vehicle.
Seat belt cutters, can be mounted in the B and C door pillars of vehicles and can be installed at the vehicle production stage as well as in cars already in use, as additional equipment.

Automatic Decompression System (ADS) is a dual-use system designed for use in military transportation and industrial facilities, providing automatic decompression during the initial stage of explosion of ammunition, anti-tank missiles, IEDs and during the explosion of flammable gases and chemical materials in industrial facilities, oil platforms.

COMPANY HISTORY
Nowak Innovations sp. z o.o. was established in 2014 on the basis of Wieslaw Nowak’s NW-Tech company, which has been in operation since 2003, where three inventor brothers – Zygmunt, Wieslaw and Janusz Nowak – work on innovative devices to increase the safety of drivers and passengers in cars and other vehicles.
The company is the author of three inventions – the AEDO emergency door opening system, the SECS emergency seatbelt cutting system and the ADS automatic decompression system.
The idea for the inventions came about when the Nowak brothers were eyewitnesses to an accident on the highway in which a woman trapped in a car died. The accident victim was burned alive because she could not get out of the car due to the jammed door.
From now on, the Nowak brothers’ goal is to put the inventions they developed into mass production and install them in vehicles.
